Get Help for Struggling Learners & Your Walk With God in This Busy World

Are you dragging your child through endless curriculum changes?

Fix the reasons they are struggling instead!

Come learn proven techniques that, when implemented, enhance the brain. See transformation in functional and learning abilities.

In addition, let us share a new, groundbreaking approach to walking with God, more intentionally, in your busy, multi-tasking life.

In James 2:16-17 we read:

If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. NIV

This ½ day meeting will teach you how to build your faith while giving you specific time tested action items to help your struggling learners.

The non-profit organization Steps of Hope welcomes you to a pivotal ½ day experience featuring Dr. Jan Bedell, PhD. MND., and Pastor Alan J. Bias, author of the book, “Walking with God in a World Gone Busy”.

Walking with God... - Preview!

Have you ever talked to your child - he looks right at you but goes off and does something totally different? You might ask yourself:  Is this a discipline issue or something s/he can’t help. Is your child struggling academically and socially; not reaching his full potential; forgetting daily activities, chores and personal hygiene;

can’t follow directions; does she/he know something one day but not the next; …? Do you suspect ADD/ADHD, Dyslexia, or other learning labels? What is a parent to do? The foundation of all abilities is the efficient functioning of the brain. Learn to address the “root cause” so that academic/functional success can be attained. Discover brain boosting keys that will skyrocket your child's learning potential regardless of learning styles or challenges. In this workshop, the Brain Coach™ will help you discover reasons why this is happening and what can be done to remedy the situation without labels or medication.

In 1992, Jan started a journey that transitioned her from desperate home school mom of a struggling learner into a master neurodevelopmentalist. With her new knowledge of how to optimize brain function, coupled with her previous experience as a public, private and home school teacher, she understood there was more to education than just technique and curriculum. She found hope and help for her daughter through The NeuroDevelopmental Approach that ensures the brain is ready for learning.  Dr. Jan Bedell aka Brain Coach™ became a master neurodevelopmentalist over two decades ago. She is the founder of Little Giant Steps (LGS) and the Chairman of Steps of Hope, 501 c3. Both organizations are dedicated to helping children, teens and adults reach their fullest God-given potential whether they are gifted, typical or challenged. Curriculum development and training programs for parents and professionals has been her specialty.

Her approach: Life-changing!

Her passion: Making life and learning easier for millions!

Most of us need to be freed from something we didn’t even know had us captive. We need to be freed from “The Big Gray Swirl”. If life seems to be flying by as you rush around with little time to recognize God in the midst of your busy day and certainly no method for easily recalling all the times God specifically interacts with you, then you’re caught in “The Big Gray Swirl”.

While you are capable of hearing and remembering your interactions with God, your high speed, high tech culture is usually preventing you from doing so. The more you fail to hear and remember your experiences with God, the more likely you will experience doubt and the feeling of being overwhelmed. If when you go through tough times you do not recognize the faithfulness of God in the midst of your difficulty, you will tend to get frustrated, bitter, fearful and even depressed. You will recall and relive your wounds rather than your victories. Additionally, you will not have your stories of hard won victories ready to pass along to your children to strengthen their faith.

“The Big Gray Swirl” is a culture of busyness in an environment of distractions which distorts your perception of time and prevents you from fully recognizing or remembering the words, experiences, and directions from God.
