NeuroDevelopmental Screening

Discover the functional reasons behind the challenges that hinder you or your student (age six or older) through the NeuroDevelopmental Screening process. A certified screener is trained to assess the root causes of issues existing with short term memory, long term memory, eye function and brain organization. When inefficiencies are found in these areas, the certified screener points you to resources to resolve the issues.

Screening Options:

  • Screening Event: This multi-family event is perfect for schools, home school co-ops or other groups.  Each participant is scheduled for a 15 minute screening appointment and multiple screenings occur over the course of several hours.  Your screening results are provided through a confidential, individualized screening report.  This report is explained during a one-hour group seminar after all screenings are completed.

  • Private Screening Consultation: A private screening consultation is designed for one family.  Each family member goes through a 15 minute NeuroDevelopmental screening. Immediately following the screenings, a report is compiled and a consultation session discussing the results begins.  The consultation explains the significance of the findings and questions are answered.

  1. Option A: Two-hour consultation: 1-2 individuals are screened

  2. Option B: Three-hour consultation: 3-5 individuals are screened

Please see our FAQs section for further information and restrictions for NeuroDevelopmental screenings.

To schedule a NeuroDevelopmental Screening, a Screening Request must be completed.

While Little Giant Steps provides help and hope for all learning issues including sensory challenges and syndromes or brain trauma, this particular screening service is not designed to address higher levels of involvement. With these situations, one is encouraged to consider a full evaluation or an in-home brain training program which will address the specific needs of these difficulties and disabilities.
