Early Learning Foundations

Early Learning Foundations is designed to build the vital neuro (brain) pathways necessary to move information from the brain to the body while providing a complete math curriculum for preschool through second grade.

The program is based on three main keys to success with The Neuro-Educational Approach:

  • Intensity (strength of information coming into the brain)

  • Frequency (how many times per day)

  • Duration (short amounts of time spent during each session and over days, weeks or months)

Developing strong pathways in the brain can mean the difference between a skillful or struggling learner.

With strong “neuro-highways,” children can:

  • Follow Directions

  • Organize Thoughts

  • Stay on Task

  • Really Enjoy Learning!

  • Retain Information

  • Develop Fine and Gross Motor Skills

  • Use Phonics

Yes, I want my child to have a great foundation for academic success.

Help, my child is struggling and below second grade in math.

Full Scope and Sequence:

"We received the package you mailed us with the student work book and Bible flash cards….THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! We are greatly enjoying our “new” school time and the boys love having their own workbooks! With this, I thought it would be nice to share the big hug with you that my second son gave me when I pulled out his very own workbook…so please consider yourself bear-hugged by my 5 year old this morning!

Please also extend our appreciation to Jan and the rest of the team for their loving endeavor to provide an easy to follow “structured” approach to combining math and the basic block of ND program exercises through the Early Learning Foundations Curriculum! This curriculum has really helped us stay more on program the last two weeks AND has made integrating our personalized programs into the day much more achievable! Needless to say, our boys are enjoying the school-exercise routine that’s finally getting (consistently) set in our home! The bonus for us as parents is that we’re really beginning to SEE differences in their processing and social skill abilities since adopting this ELF program into our personalized exercise program….the consistency and repetition really do help(!). So, thanks for physically showing us HOW to integrate it altogether with ELF so we that could achieve this new level of growth in our ND program!

Thanks again for your help with our inquiries and blessings on you! We’ll look forward to working with your team again for the next level of ELF!"

"My husband and I have been going through the ELF-1 program with our son for the past six months. In that time, he has grown more patient and more focused to the point that other parents, family members and teachers have commented about his progress. Only three months into the program, his Sunday School teachers were repeatedly telling us, "I don't know what you're doing, but keep doing it." Though always a happy-natured boy, he was at times hard to contain and didn't want to participate in group activities with other children his age. After the first three months, his teachers noticed that he would sit still at table activities with the other children in his class and actively involve himself in the lessons. In addition to his interpersonal behavior, his number skills have blossomed and his attention span has dramatically increased. He is far more cooperative and his listening skills have improved greatly.

He began the program as a 4-1/2-year-old child for whose behavior we often felt the need to apologize. Six months later, he is a 5-year-old who receives praise and encouragement from those around him. Even strangers in shopping centers have periodically remarked at how well-behaved he is and how they wished more children behaved that way in public. We know he still has a long way to go, but without Little Giant Steps, we can't imagine where we'd be today."
